Smashed my brand new Experia Z1

SInce one month I have a brand new Sony Experia Z1 and all was well. Last friday I have even taken pictures BUT:

It just stopped working as ussaul.

First I loose the icons in de top screens and only showing the airplane and the battery. And no it is not in flight mode. Sometime it will show the cions and then they diseappear.

The icons at te bottum are not visible but do work. The houde is changed into a dotted circle. The left and right have dissapear.

It is ittritaing but I could still work. BUT what is the thing slow...

And it seems that the camera app has lost funcion completely and it let's the phone crash over and over again. Yesterday and today I have reboot the phore more then ever before.

It gets me so pissed that I got angry and slapped the phone real hard. The above part of the phone is now bended. Off Course this won't help but I just did. The alu casing is banned and the phone make a curve now.

The last version of android is on it and it must be the reason but what is strange that this last version was installed before friday. Between friday and Saturday I didn't update anything.

It was nice to have it but now it is curved and I do not want to use it anymore. Hardware is okay even a bit of a bit screen but software really bad. Please do not upgrade it will bring you in pespare....

Have you tried to run a software repair using either PCC or SUS found here - The bend you mention - I wouldn't advise trying to bend it back into place but I have heard reports of placing weight on it and leaving it to gradually straighten it but again I've only heard of this and not seen any evidence of it been performed

I did manage to bend it back and pushed the alu side with a screwdriver. The plastic thingies on the side can be fitted in their holes now. Offcourse all is damged but I really can care less the phone is crap anyway.

It is still a bit curved slightly) now.

You know what realy strange is: I have my normal icons back and the camera app works again.

Just beat me! So the phone had problems with the software and by bending it works again. Very strange...

Maybe the phone is just to large and gets bended a bit in normal use and the electronics get jammed so the apps do not work proparly.

This phone is damged and I will not try it to use in water, hehhe. Just will buy some other not bieing a SOny anymore. All my life I have had Sony and waited for sometime like this. But no more...

I do not know "software repair"nor PCC or SUS. When the problem returns I will maybe try. As normal thiings go by malfunctions is the devices normally end up to a wall or thrown out of my window. When they do work I use then for ages, like my previous Sony T68i

So, your firmware was a bit off, which would be easely fixed with sus (Sony update service) then you smash your Phone and now it is ruined and working? You could also just bring it in under warranty. But he, it is your money.
