Smartwatch SMS notifications stopped working

Hi all,

As the title says, I'm having an issue with my Smartwatch MN2.  Since the last update to the messaging extension, I no longer get notified on the Smartwatch when I get a new SMS message - Extremely annoying, as that was the main reason I wanted the Smartwatch.

I beieve I've been through all the relevant settings - I have opened the smartwatch application from the status bar.  Under the applications menu, the Messaging extension shows as enabled.  Inside the Messaging menu, it is also showing as enabled, "Show in new events" is checked, and "Notify" is set to "Vibrate & show message".  Display as widget is not checked, although checking it has no effect.

I've updated all the apps involved (AFAIK) - The Smartwatch Application is on version 1.3.31, Messaging Smart Extras and Smart Connect are both on the latest version according to Google Play

The Smartwatch's firmware is 0.1.B.1.3, and My phone is a SE Xperia Play

Can anyone help?  I'm hoping I'm just missing something, or that there's a fix available.

Should have said, my phone is on 2.3.4, build 4.0.2.a.0.42

Also, it doesn't seem to be just the Messaging Extenson, but all notifications.  Incoming calls still display though,

Check if this can be fixed by reinstalling the latest firmware on your SmartWatch via Update Service.
