Smartwatch 2 connects and disconnects issue

I am a Xperia Z1 C6903 User, updated to the current latest 

Android 4.4.2

Build 14.3.A.0.757

Received a present from my wife, the Smartwatch 2

Updates it to the latest 

1.0.B.4.152/1.0.A.4.11

Currently having problem with the connection. 

I cannot run my Music Player, The Camera App and since it is getting frequent disconnection, even the notifications are not sync at all.


I wish someone could really help me with this. Was having the problem before the new update. Still persist after the update.

I have the same issue with my Xperia Z and Z1 and my SW2, I hope this gets resolve soon

I don't have the disconnection problem with the SmartWatch SW2 on my Xperia Z1 ... however, I am facing the problem with my SmartBand.

Perhaps one way to resolve the problem is to perform a hard reset (or factory reset as they call it) on your phone (I know, it's a bit drastic). You'll never know ... perhaps the reset can help you.

I have never missed any notification on my SW2 (using WatchIt!) and Music player/camera works fine and dandy. Give it a try ... might solve your problem ....

I have the same problem but only since the update. My smartwatch won't stay connected for more than 10-15 seconds. I have reset it both from the menu on the watch and by holding the power button for 15 seconds(which completely broke the bluetooth connection and forced me to menu reset again). I have also unistalled all apps, reinstalled smart connect and smartwatch apps...nothing. I'm thinking that some of us had a corruption issue with the update but I don't know of a way to re-flash the firmware.

WTH, the pic in the link I posted shows the older version of SUS(2.13.11.201309191111) having the SW2 in it but the newer verion that I just downloaded(2.14.6.2014170858) doesn't have the SW2 but it has the two old models...Now this is aggravating.

Owkay, i am going to try with factory restore my phone. But ofcourse i need to make sure that all my data are safe. 

Will let you know the result of the restore.

You can backup your data on the microsd card since factory reset doesn't reset the SD card. Alternatively,  just backup to the cloud for convenience Slightly_smiling_Face

Done, same problem. nothing seems to work.

Connect and disconnection still happens.

So do not waste your time...

I PM'd a mod(Johan) and he said that he doesn't know why the SW2 is no longer in SUS but to send it in for repair :(.
