Smartphone restarts 3-5 times a day

After upgrading firmware of my M5 to the latest marshmallow, smartphone restarts 3-5 times a day. It can restart just lying on the table or in a pocket. It's really enrage me! Reset to factory settings didn't help. Reinstalling firmware didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks for replies!

i bought my Xperia M5 Dual 20 days ago and suddenly shuts off , my local support have already change it one time but it happens to me again and they told me that they will change it again ....

It happens just for M5 Dual or all of xperia's have this problem ?

i really dont know what to do ... i cant continue like this ...

My wife's Z3 compact hasn't this problem on Android 6.0

I have the same problem and tried all the solutions they talked about too and it's really getting me out of my mind! I'm now trying to reinstall the lollipop again to stop this farce!

P.S: I reinstalled operating system via "Xperia Companion", and today i got first unplanned restart (Twitter+Radio).

Reinstalling OS not helps to solve this problem. Downgrade to Android 5.1

Can you please list all the bugs you have noticed, along with steps to replicate them?

My only problem was frequent restarts of the phone, to 10 times a day after upgrading firmware to Android 6.0. Reset to factory settings and reinstalling of firmware didn't help. Finally I reinstalled the firmware back to Android 5.1
