Smart Connect - Trigger on location and api

Hi there
Is it possible to trigger on a location? So when I'm arriving at work it can set the phone to silent. This could be used instead of a NFC tag and is easier.

I'm a developer and can easily add this function as Google already have added a library in Android for it. So my next question is: Are there an API for this app so it's possible to create such features?

Smart Connect can not trigger on location but there are other apps that can do this for you. I believe this app can do it for example: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm

Thank you for your fast reply and I have read the guidelines now. Please correct me if you by mistake have done something wrong.

Yes I know that there are other apps which can do all what Smart Connect can do and more. But why not implement features that your customers want? I have bought both Tasker and Trigger, which can do the same, but why have two apps running, when I can have one? Smart Connect can not be removed as it's a system app, so why not use it and improve it. I like the app, it's simplicity and the way it's contructed. I mean there must be a reason why Sony implemented this app right...other than earn money on NFC SmartTags :smileysmileywink:

Plus this feature is already implemented in the Android which are shipped with the Z2. It could be easily added by:

• Choosing ex. GPS device
• Which pops up a google map window to choose a location
• Save the GPS Location Device with a Name ex. Work...done.

Do you know if there are any API for this app?
