Since updating my phone to Android Ice Cream Sandwich the camera seems to take much longer to capture a photo. I noticed that it was struggling to focus in order to take a photo and even after it did the camera application needed 10 seconds to show me what it photographed. Before the update I could take a photo in less than 2 seconds or even several photos at once. Now instead it takes 6-7 seconds to capture one single photo. I removed several apps that used valuable RAM but nothing changed. The quality is more or less the same and I don't have a clue why this is happening. I own this phone less than 3 months so it has to be something else! Thanks in advance for your help
True that.
I have this problem too.
Well, by cleaning ram you can't solve this problem. 😕 Camera app needs ram but that doesn't mean it can focus in less time by increasing ram.
In daylight, camera foucs is faast, right? But when its night/indoor, it takes about 6/7 seconds.
This is ICS's problem in Xperia.
Everyone have this problem, too.
Note: Use camera in Normal mode, and select 'Party' mode. When using Flash, use "Fill Flash' mode.
