Slight stuttering with music playback

Hi guys,

As above, I've had this issue for a while now, long before Lollipop... it usually happens at the start of playback (PowerAmp) and lasts for literally a few seconds. I'm thinking it might be my memory stick. I have an older style class 10 Samsung SD in there. Thinking I should maybe try one of these?

Do you encounter the same issue if the music it's stored on the internal storage? are you using the Walkman app or a third party music player?

Hi slipd,

You could try backing up the SD card and then formatting it, it may be possible that the SD card is simply having issues with data transfer.

Thanks guys! Yeah, using PowerAmp as my main player, paid version. I'll try listening to something on the internal storage but I need to keep my collection ( 34GB) on an SD.

I'll report back. Not a common issue or anything then
