sk17i touch not functioning

Hi,When i take my phone out of my pocket,i am unable to unlock the screen.it gets unlocked once it is kept in open place for some time.

Is this problem of over heating or proximity sensor issue.More over calibration problem is there. Kindly help me to solve this issue.

i tried already,even i have updated using sony update service.it is still the same
