sk17i front camera not working

hi, anybody can please help...my front camera on xminipro is not working ,ive done factory reset already a few times but still the icon is missing.i have not done any upgrade on my phone either.and also can i do the update using my sd card,instead of usb cable?

Sounds like it would be wise to try performing a repair of your phone's software.

I am encountering the same problem.
I just realized that the 'switching camera' option in the camera menu is no where to be found in my GB phone. Did master reset. No good. Upgraded to ICS as a desperate countermeasure. That did no good either..

I tried dialling *#*#7378423#*#* and found out that secondary camera and proximity sensor are not supported by the phone.

Went to PC Companion, but i couldn't do much there either.

Please help us out.
I love my sk17i, but knowing one of its feature gone has seriously made me uncontented with it.

When camera is active choose SCN (left top) Here you can choose front camera. Works on mine.

The front facing camera option is no where to be found, not in the menu list, and not even in the SCN

What version of ICS are you on? I'm on build 4.1.B.0.587
