sim unlock code

i bought a sony xperia z of recent, tried to unlock but technician complained that the counter is blocked. any help? can i still get a code even if it means buying it?

Do you mean that the phone is locked to an operator? Or what kind of lock do you mean?

If the phone is locked to an operator, you have as standard 5 attempts to unlock it. If you have used all the 5 attempts, the phone needs to be reset at a service center. You can contact your Local support for further information how you should proceed in this case.
