Sim still not activated uk

I've the xperia z1, I got a new sim which tmobile put in for me in store as the nano didn't fit.... But the new sim still hasn't activated , though I spoke to tmobile last night and said within few hours, i kept phone off overnight thinking that would do it,I still can't make or receive calls nor accept texts or make them? What's wrong? And is there anything I have to do to rectify this prob? Thanks

If the SIM cars isn't active yet I suggest that you contact your network operator/provider for more information on how to activate it and why it's not activated yet.
