SIM not recognised

Hello there,

Recently I have faced a problem with SIM card on my xperia X10 mini pro. Suddenly "no SIM card" notification appeared on the screen.
First I thought that my SIM card being old could not be traced. Today I got a new SIM card that works fine on other mobile phones but again it is not recognised by my xperia. The strange thing is that I have placed 2 other different SIM cards, relatively new and it worked fine but when I placed my new SIM card the same problem appeared.

Can I solve the problem through PC Companion or should I get it straight for service?

You could always try a software repair, but it does indeed sounds like the SIM holder might be worn out or defect in some way.
