Sim deactivation problem

When deactivating one sim, both the sims are deactivating and we need to activate other sim again. A software bug? Or need to be sent as suggestion?

Hi @Ajith5,

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with your phone.

To my knowledge you should be able to deactivate one of your SIM-cards without it affecting the other SIM-card. Do you have two other SIM-cards that you can try inserting in your phone? Let me know if you experience the same behaviour then as well.

I would also recommend that you try rebooting your phone to safe mode, this will allow us to rule out any third party apps being behind this.

Let me know how it goes!

I had following observations (safe mode and other sims had no effect)

1. When any of the sims in other than 4g network deactivated, it has no problems.
2. When any of the sims in 4g network deactivated, other sim deactivates too and after 5 sec, it reactivates(perhaps it is changing its network mode)
3. When sim2 in 4g network intended to DEACTIVATE 1st time, it shows ACTIVATING and nothing happens. When you press for the 2nd time, point no.2 said above happens.
4. When sim2 is deactivated from 4g network, other sim automatically goes to 4g. When yo reactivate sim2 after deactivating from 4g and go to mobile networks> sim2, the network is shown as gsm, but when you press it, it shows as it is in 4g. Then you have to slct other mode and reselect 4g to activate 4g on sim2
