Sim card number change

Greetings All

Just done my first software upgrade which went without any problems.

However shortly after that an email  message came through alerting me that my sim card number has changed.

Does this have anything to do with the upgrade or is there something more sinister happening.

An "email" regarding your SIM card, never seen that before, an update will not change your SIM card number, that's quite odd, if I were you I will Google that email, seems like SPAM

I know certian security softwares sends an email similar to what you describe. Could also be an email from a security software you have in the phone like McAfee.
