significant battery meter issue XPERIA T !!??

I have the same problem with the 2nd handset I received within a week.....EXACTLY  the same issue dreadful

what happens when the battery metre is around 45-50% the phone just shuts off..............How can this be?????? So the battery metre is not probing the battery energy level correct because this is exactly the same issue I had with the 1st model so it is not a hardware problem/issue with the battery.....

I wonder if I do anything wrong in my configuration....

I have WIFI enabled, enabled 3 G I do the regular, a few phone calls check some inetrnet, automatic updates are disabled..... I do run live wallpapers could that be an issue, it shouldn t for a phone this high-end....

Can anyone from Sony please advise I am reallly considering to abandon the xperia line now. and go for a Samsung.....

many thanks in advance for your feedback and assistance in this manner

same problem here 😞

i'm running build 7.0.A.3.195

the phone droped dead at different battery levels between 81% and 45% and usually when i did not use it for more than 1 hour

After resetting and reinstalling the phone with SUS it worked for 3 weeks, then the problem reoccured.

yes exactly the fickle battery metre, i swapped mine once and resetted both models and tested with latest build also yours 7.0.a.3.195. A specialist stress-tested also, same results.

It is strange the android OS is not reading Sony's harware correct.

I don t know what it it, the issue is not too widespread so I guess it s a glitch if you install certain apps or whatever, Sony won't stress about it, the issue is too small

I returned my model because it is unacceptable to use the phone when it is doing this .

still very much want to buy the xperia Z which is coming up, because it is is a beauty. But I am fearful very fearful..............

I do think positive don t wanna go in a diatribe towards Sony! Sony is not petty, callous in world of technology. It is in the race to level up with the competition in the smartphone world with Samsung and Apple and they do make dapper snazzy devices, they have a certain style to them. If the uocming xperia Z runs well I am gonna give them a pass

I detest Apple and I don t know Samsung. What would you advise then, not take the risk to by the Z?

A friend of mine has a SIII and it works very well... I tested one and is not a bad phone... then you have the Lumia 920 from Nokia (they say the camera it's just amazing) it works with windows phone 8. The nexus 4 will be again on the stores shortly. HTC is another option.

If you want the Z, just wait to see how it works and DO NOT BELIEVE what Sony says about it... if it's the same than the T, it will be full of problems.

Shi*t man, I would not throw that Z to the water!!!.... if Sony says that is water resistant, it may be destroyed in 1 second!!!

Personally i will never buy a sony phone again. If i could rewind it would be for me either the galaxy s3 or the htc one xl, unless apple bring out a proper large screen iphone.

yes I might opt for the S3 I am doubting too much what I'll do is try the Z for a full week and test it completeley, if it s performance is intermittant I get my money back and go for the S3 because I also need the a large screen
