Signal strength/reception

How is everyone finding it?
I seem to be getting less bars in the same areas that my old phone registered more. I also seem to get an intermittent loss of bars.

I seem to be getting around the same amount of bars as on my Z5.

Wifi is also weak when quite close to the router. I'm 10 feet away in the same room and have only two lines of WiFi signal strength.
