Severe problems after update

Hi

I recently updated some apps in my Xperia S.

Problems appeared:

• Every textbox which I am supposed to type in (sms, email, facebook etc.) goes grayed out from time to time. Sometimes rebooting my phone fix the issue, sometimes not.

• Battery drain is overwhelming.

• PC Companion does not see my xperia now.

• I can`t make factory data reset. After I click "Erase everything" nothing happens.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I would suggest trying to run the phone through the Update Service program (http://bit.ly/Jb00HG) rather than the PC Companion. This would reapply the software to the phone.
