In the first screen I place my email adress (first.last@mine.com) and password
After that it asked to fix the settings for Exchange
domain/username > mine\first.last
password > *******
server > mail.mine.com
use of SSL
I accept everything, but it's not working . . it's continues saying Waiting for synchronisation
Please help . . cause i need this one (with out installing an special app)

ps
hej hej . . .
nobody using the E-mail option in combination with Exchange ??
Did you have this issue before updating to ICS? Do you know?
Can you please try with a different app just so we know if this works or not? Try with Road Sync or Moxier for example and then let me know.

It was also not working before the update . . .
I try this account on another Sony Ericsson (my old X10) and after finishing the setup everything works PERFECT . . . ! !
I used the exact settings. . . .
The phone support tells me to use Companion . . 😞 or buy another app . . . 😞 😞
Just download and installed RoadSync . . .
click click and it works . . . but not the default Email client . . !
Trevor
OK, so the account works on a different phone and it works with Road Sync - which probably leaves us with the built-in EAS client having the problem.
The correct way of setting up EAS is at Settings > Accounts & sync > New account > Exchange Active Sync. If you're doing it this way I suggest you follow the phone supports' suggestion and run PC Companion to do a software repair. This will swipe the phone clean (not SD card or SIM card though) and reinstall the software from scratch. Make sure to backup stuff you wish to keep before doing this.
Try to setup the EAS account before you restore any backups though.

Okay I do a software repair, but whats the best way to save my apps or settings . . . ?
Trevor
Your apps will have to be reinstalled and you will find them in Play Store > My apps afterwards. For other stuff I suggest you have a look at My Backup. It's a 3rd party app in Play Store.

Done a repair from the Ray . . .
put settings back, before any other setting . . . . and not working . . .
after setup, it asked for accept Externa Security - I accept - from that point its back to settings . . .
When i try to open the Email, it keeps spinning around and Waiting on Synchronisation (in dutch then :smileyhappy:). . .
so . . still no luck
Sorry to hear it's still not working.
The next step in terms of trouble-shooting would be to try with a complete different EAS account.
If that still ends up like this (that is not working) or if you do not have the option to try you will have to contact a service center to have the phone handed in for examination and repair.
Call the regional Sony Mobile support office for more help with the service part:

Let me know how it plays out and if there's something else I can do to help.
