Setting - App- Menu Hangs..Urgent

Hi

Why there is an issue with my xperia Z...whenever i go to setting...and click on APP..as soon as it shows app windows..particular windows get hanged gives an message. "Unfortunately Setting has stopped""

Can you please let me know this...its  bit urgent.

Do a  settings reset on your phone, go to settings-backup and reset-click on settings reset (dont worry it wont erase your data)

uninstall any taskmanagers memory managers antivirus etc  - in fact uninstall everything you have ever installed remove your SD card and try again

If it is still giving problems do an update "repair my phone" using PCC (PC companion)

be careful what you install on your device some programs will cause problems

let us know how you get on

back up your contacts and sms before doing the repair

No it wont delete anything

I think for your mail account you will have to sync it again(means you will have to re enter it as you must have done when you used your phone for the first time) when the phone turns on after the reset

MEaning i need to do factory reset setting? It says all ur data will erase...i am nt able to fine reset settings option in setting menu..

sorry i just saw xperia z lacks the settings reset option

You should click on factory data reset and in the screen that comes after untick erase internal storage . i mean dont click on erase everything
