Server Overload

Dear All

For 2 months, I'm trying to update my S. Ericsson Arc S Android version, but the server is overloaded all the time...

What seams to be the problem?

I know that there are a lot of Sony/ Android users that are doing the same, but TWO MONTHS is a lot of time.

Please do something, I keep connecting the phone to the PC, and destroing my battery life!!!

You could try updating using SUS on another computer.

This is actually more often a Java error, which is why the Update Service often works when you get this error with PC Companion. You can generally solve it by doing this:

1. Close PC Companion

2. Install java from http://www.java.com/winoffline_installer

3. Start PC Companion again and try to do the SW Update of the phone.

If this does not work then please do follwo the advice of Veresova and Uliwooly.
