SERIOUS BUG - Xperia Z3 Compact STAMINA MOD

Hello everyone, this is my first post.
(I apologize for my english, but I'm Italian)

I want to report to the technicians of Sony, a bug "Software" of serious importance.

The Bug is in the activation of Stamina Mode.
When you turn it on, and you turn it off, the phone locks remaining with a black screen.
We have to wait a bit, pressing the lock / unlock for a few minutes and the phone's display lights up again.

Now, I've done some testing and configuring the Stamina Mode, disabling "Extended Use" (Limit device performance to increase battery life) the BUG does not show up anymore, but, however, the Stamina Mod so it would be useless.

I decided to capture the screen device and will upload on YouTube and will attach the video in this post.

I have 4-5 days from my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, and also trying to restore to have it fixed.
It 'a shame, because the Stamina Mod is really a great feature .. but with this annoying bug for me is unusable.

(PS.'s Stamina Mode is not always crashes, only if you use multiple times during the day.)

I hope that this information can be useful to solve this problem.

I've been testing this here but i'm unable to replicate this. Does it happen under normal use or is it only when you turn it on/off repeatedly and very fast like in the video?

In the video I have "forced" this bug by turning off and on stamina mode, but in the course of the day, without forcing it, turning on or off the stamina mode happens this bug.

Could you try making a repair of the phones software using a computer and see if that helps? You can do that using PC Companion from Support zone -> Software update -> Repair phone. But please note that this will reset your phone so make sure to make a backup of data you want to save first.

Mmm...I am new to this phone, still. Did not encouter this problem, but noticed that suddenly the Stamina mode had turned itself off. Notice this because I was surprised that one day the battery had suddenly decresed capaciy so rapidly.

I have not solved, that I have not tried more to reset the phone, because I have important data at the time .. however I am using the stamina mode without the "Extended Use". the battery lasts a lot longer without reducing the performance of the phone.

I think it's the software side of troubles .. I hope that the next version of Android 5.0 lollipop work all the better!

the problem of stamina mode remains even if I do not pay attention to them.
Use quietly stamina mode even without the extended "Extending Use."

I having the same behavior. Somehow the screen gets not enough power and the it looks like an e-ink loosing more and more colors until its black but background illumimation is still on. Power off and on the screen doesnt help. After 20 seconds the screen is again back fully working. Really strange
