Serious bug in ICS

Hi guys,

There is a serious bug in ICS 4.0.4 . When you switch on bluetooth, the phone gets hanged and then goes into infinite loop of rebooting.

We need to remove the battery to stop this continuous rebooting. I have observed this almost 3 times. But it doesn't happen everytime you switch on bluetooth.

I think it also happens when you are using switch widgets for switching on and off bluetooth. Now, i have to flash ICS to use my phone. :smileysad::smileysad:

Sony find some fix for this....

I guess you need to repair your software using PC Companion

See if it helps

________________________________________________________________

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts, apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

PC Companion http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions

ajayw6 You don't need your phone to be swicthed on

Just let it remain off and follow the insctructions above

Use SUS

Nopes, rooting shouldn't be a cause

I have got same problem of rebooting by turning of Bluetooth last week and also my memory card has DELETED and I lost all my data and it has not recovered, so I bought a new one. I then flashed my phone and installed GB from service center and it solved. Sony should fix this issue as early as possible as we have to pay for it.:smileyangry:
