Serious battery issue.

Hi folks,

got my Xperia U 3 days ago, out of the box I used it till the battery was dead and charged it fully and did that process again.

Now yesterday I had 50% charge and it went from that to 0 in no time and turned of. Today it happened again.

Can someone help me please?

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to wait untill the battery is fully charged untill I connect the device to my Mac.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

If the device can get to 10% I will to that, although I hope the repair will fix this issue.

Anyhow, I will get back to you, many thanks!

bummer, what's going on is that the servers are busy, try a bit later or if possible borrow a PC

I'll try again tomorrow, it's getting late here in Belgium Slightly_smiling_Face

BTW, does the battery need to be fully charged to do this process, I don't know where I got this assumption from?

So, up untill now the only change I made is deleting the McAfee app. Is this app pre-installed in all regions?

But ok, the battery has gotten from full to 27% untill now. If it reaches 10% should I still take those screenshots?

Will McAfee Mobile Security drain my battery faster?
Battery drain is negligible. With normal use, the device battery drains only 5 percent faster when McAfee Mobile Security is installed. If you have an Android tablet that is not push-enabled, your battery might drain faster because of higher data use. Also, your battery may drain faster if you have automatic scan enabled.

And bummer, around 20% the device turned off without warning. Slightly_frowning_Face
