If I send an email from the phone using an Outlook account, the sent mail shows repeatedly (sent every 10 minutes or so) in my host sent file till I delete the original mail (longest is over 80 times over 3 days). The recipient only gets it once and it only shows once on the phone. ANy ideas? More to the point is this using up valuble contract data?
Have you tried to delete the account then add it again?
You could also try to clear data for the E-mail application (this will also delete the account settings).
Settings > App's > All > E-mail > Clear data.
Have you tried using their dedicated E-mail app from Google Play store?
