Self Cracking Screen

The screen has self cracked without being touched whatsoever. The phone no longer works as I cannot unlock it. I had a screen protector on the screen and network recommended solid case which has been on the phone since I bought it. I've found that hundreds of other people have had the same problem and I've even found articles and facebook pages discussing the problem. I wouldn't mind so much if I could access my pictures and videos but I can't even unlock the screen! The contact center have been no help in helping me to retrieve my data from my phone and it seems the only way I can do this is to go the High Street Repair shop which voids the warranty. Any suggestions how I get my photos and videos off the phone, I don't have a memory card and the screen won't unlock so PC Companion is no use either.

Get a OTG cable and use a mouse, that might be the only way to retrieve your files.

Contact Sony Xperia Support and maybe they can repair the phone without resetting it.

Ok, then a OTG cable and mouse might be the last option
