I bought xperia e dual exactly year ago. But after 1 month, when I was playing on the beach, sea water went into it from the headphone jack on the top. At that time it started vibrating so I removed the battery and allowed it to soak. Next day I started the phone which started malfunctioning. So I decided to keep the phone off and removed the battery. After a few days when I started the phone again, it went on restarting again and again when sim inserted but worked quite good without sim(no restart). So I visited nearest Sony Service Centre where they just cleaned the phone. But when I tested, I had same problem of restarting the phone with sim inserted. So I decided not to do anything with it and kept it as it is for almost 11 months.
At the present day, this phone works well (touch, music, video etc.) without inserting the sims(both slots). But restarts when sim inserted in any/both slots.
I am very eager to use this phone for everything again. Please suggest me something which will help me getting my phone back in use. I hope Sony will help suggest me something to resolve this issue as early as possible.
P.S: I heard that changing motherboard may work. But how much it costs and is it reliable?
