Sd memory card not detected.

My Xperia Z3 duo recently can't recognise inserted Sd memory where many applications are stored on it.

Sometimes, it works when I remove and reinsert it, or restart phone.

But since yesterday, it doesn't.

Appreciate any advice or help.

That seems to be a faulty SD card, could you test a different SD card and/or test the SD card with other phones.

It's working okay on other devices, not on the Z3.
FYI, the plastic cover of the Sd / Charge socket was torn out long time ago. ( It was really stupid in design ) .

Hi @hagZ3, I am sorry to hear about your phone.

If you have the SD card mounted in your phone, are you able to see it using a file explorer on a computer along with the internal storage? If you use a Windows running computer, connect your Xperia Z3 using a cable and press the windows button + E on your keyboard (or windows button > My computer) and you should be able to see your phone. If you open it, can you see the SD card?

Note that if you are running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, you need to choose the MTP mode when connecting your device to the computer in order to enter the file transfer mode.

Aside from that, I agree with @uliwoolys suggestion in that it would be wise to try different SD cards to see if the same behaviour occurs.
