Hi... i have an unmounted sd card problem, i downloaded an image gallery widget app, which looked for photos but seemed to be trying to access my whole set of pics instead of folders, and which was taking ages, so i cancelled it. At the same time i had downloaded a pintail app to locate my phone if lost, and i went off to a game which could load a background image, which wouldnt give me an option for folders.
I deleted the photo gallery app and a few hours later my sd card was notifying me it was umounted, and the message asked me to format it or cancel. I cancelled the format... after this my sd card is showing blank when i try to start up the phone.
I have tried to look with a file recovery software (it took 5 hours) and it didnt show any files (is this because the recovery was running via windows on my pc)
Can anyone tell me if there is a solution, i hadnt backed some really good photos up and would like them back.
I bought a new sd card, inserted it after using an old backup on the pc and copying files... the App Monster app recovered the apps, and smart shortcuts kept the bookmarks so the phone is running ok.... but i would like to recover my photos
Does anyone know any software, any programme any info (such as does the sd card mount part of the android programme have any secrets i dont know about that would allow it to be read again)
