sd card problems since jelly bean update

I have a Class 10 sandisk 32Gb device which was working fine with ICS but since jelly bean update it keeps throwing up the yellow warning triangle about the sd card has been removed unexpectedly.

Sometimes after a restart you can see the files from a PC but when you select a file to move it just stops.

what if you repair your phone once more with PCC or SUS

This is a known big issue about JB and Xperia T.

It happened the same to me, and if you read other posts, you'll realize that there is no solution... nor reinstall, repair, or anything else.

Mine also was a Sandisk 32Gb and the phone totally destroyed the sd card.

My advice is that you unmount the sd and keep it out, til sony will do something about it.

Otherwise, it may finish toasted, as mine, and loose ALL the files I had inside.

I think i've heard about problems using this card before (not just in JB but in general) and i'll forward this.

Meanwhile i recommend that you try the phone with another memory card.

Sandisk is a name that repeats a lot when it comes to sd cards that all the sudden stops working.

pettergrcutt had a 32Gb Sandisk cass 10

Mine was a 32Gb Sandisk Ultra

And if I am not wrong, there are other costumers in the forum that also said Sandisk.

I keep working with my old 8Gb Kingston class 4 and for now, there are no problems.

No I have tried Kingston and Fuji with the same result.

I suspect something more as it only seems to start after files have been retrieved via windows.

Almost as though the fat system is messed up. If you look at the files on the disk music files are ok and retrievable but picture files and movies are not.

Once reformatted on a pc then the card will work correctly again.

This problem did not happen on ICS.

If the problem occours after connection with a computer, try setting it to MTP-mode instead of MSC under Settings -> Xperia -> USB connection mode.

I haven't used any Sandisk class 10 card myself but i have a Samsung 16GB class 10 that i've used in several phones and i never had any problem with it.
