I've has this problem for a while. No matter what SD card I put into my Xperia J it just says SD card blank or unsupported file system. The thing is, my PC detects the SD card fine so does every other android device I have. I've tried formatting to FAT32, I've tried changing the partition. I've tried everything I can think of. I used a app called ROEHSOFT partition toolkit SD and it detects my SD card on that app when it's inserted in my phone and when I try to add a new partition it isn't able too.
It's really annoying as I want to flash CWM recovery and put some ROM's onto my phone but without the SD card working, I'm unable to do this. This really sadden's me as the Xperia J is a really good phone. :c
Please help me?
I'm having a similar problem;
The strange thing is it seems to work for a while, I put loads of stuff on the SD card, and it's fine for a day, and then stuff starts disappearing. Fifteen albums suddenly becomes three albums, then one song, and then nothing. Even putting the SD card into my laptop shows that the files that were on it have mysteriously disappeared.
Kinda disappoints me since I was hoping to use it to replace my old iPod, which after seven years of regular use now has a battery life of about half an hour - but with my phone deciding that SD cards aren't really its thing, I can't do that.
I did think the issue might have been something to do with the fact that I was using a 64gb card, when the phone only supports a 32gb one, but having tried smaller cards and experienced the same thing, I don't see how it can be.
