sd card issues

Hi All,

My ST15i not detecting SD Card where my PC is detecting the same.

Please some one suggest the solution

Actually I tried by inserting another SD card also same issue, phone not detecting the card

under setting>storage> it is showing the only option 'Mount SD Card' which is also not an active one

@ Cnuk4u,

You can also try to format the SD card using the phone (backup your important data first).

Go to Settings > Storage > Erase SD card. (similarly as format).

Hi,

As phone not detecting the SD Card the only option we are able to see under setting>stoage is 'Mount SD Card' even which is also seen as inactive (just view)

I agree with Alexrr back up and reformat your SD card

if it is the case (I mean problem is with my SD card) why some other working (in their phone) SD card also not detecting by my phone???

Have you tried a software repair so far?

That's hard to say, but that should narrow down the issue, it could be a hardware issue with your phone, but if you don't have another SD card, that's the best way to test the issue

OK I will check it with service center thanks to both of you for respending to my issue
