Screenshot: Movies app 4.4 update -- Grey thumbnails and can't search certain movie info

Hi, nobody answered me in my previous message so here's to hoping that I can get some advice.

I usually store a lot of movie files in my Z1.

I'm sort of an OC person so that's why I ensure that I put details in the movies via Gracenote.

However, after the 4.4 update, there are certain keywords or titles that I cannot search.

For example, when I try to search "Valkyrie", the app will give me zero results and then promt me "No network available. Cannot search info for new movies" even though I am connected to the Internet.

Also, there are times that the movie info that I downloaded are completely WIPED out and the movie thumbnails are color grey instead of the posters I downloaded.

This isn't the case in other phones. My mother has a Z1 compact at 4.3 and she can search and download movie info that I can't on 4.4

Again I have full wiped and repaired my software COUNTLESS times already, so I'd appreciate it if you could spare me that option.

Anybody else has this? Sony, I beg you to fix this and other bugs of 4.4

I just updated to the new Movies app with the new UI.

I updated to the latest 4.4 with the bug fix.

I STILL GET THIS BUG.

My cousin has an Xperia Ion but he can search movie information that I can't on my Z1 4.4.

WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE.
