Hello,

I am facing this problem and it's very annoying !

I changed my phone to Xperia SL because iu had problems with my old phone's battery. But, the old battery is better than this one !!!!!!!

The screen is using up to 60-70 % of the battery, and i have turned off the autorotate, brightness : 15% , sleep in 30 secs, BRAVIA engine is Off !!!

the screen will drain 50% or of your battery, that's normal.

1) charge your phone 100% > leave it overnight > first thing in the morning > settings > battery > take screenshots of the list, graph and tap on the top 4 items on the list (screenshots = power & volume down)

2) charge your phone 100% > use it as you normally do (during the day) once the battery drops to 10% > settings > battery > take screenshots of the list, graph and tap on the top 4 items on the list (screenshots = power & volume down)

The screen has consumed the 80% of the battery while was switched on for 3 hours. If the brightness was above 50%, this seems to be normal. If this screen on was due to playing games U shall count the processor consumtion as well. What was the usage in reality? 5,5 hours on battery, 3 hours display on...90% of the battery drained.

The brightness was around 40% with Bravia Engine Off. The display was used for browsing, and social media apps stuff and data network was 2g

First I would say, that that is usual, second I think that is far below expectation knowing that according to WP the video playing time is 6,6h. And the browsing/SN usage is not really differing from video play consumption, maybe some more... How old is this battery?

40% of display brightness is still gonna kill your battery faster. As you mentioned you had used 3 hrs on browsing, you will make sure that you will be working on the screen fully, which would make use of display. Bravia Engine comes into picture only when you use camera, it's not gonna make any difference if its switched off while normal use.

You have to reduce your display brightness between 15-25%.
