Screen turns black when calling

After dialing a number the screen goes off immediately. I have press the unlock button several times to get it on. Even when i haven't put it up to ear. The light sensor is working. Plz fix the prblm

1- Do you have a screen protector and/or phone case installed that's blocking the sensor?

2- Does the same happens in safe mode?

Hi @Ramij_raja,

I also suggest that you test the proximity sensor in Diagnostics, Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Ear proximity.
