screen not rotating

ive got a xperia z2 and it was working fine since ive had it for a few days but suddenly its stopped rotating. ive tried reparing it with pc comanion but nothing is working

mirrorman, what did you do? did you solve this problem? I'm having the same issue but nothing that I did solved the situation. I already tried factory restore, safe mode, change android version and nothing. I don't know if this is an software or hardware problem...ate this moment, I thinking to update to 4.4.4 that just released to see if the problem will persistis. Did you solve the problem in your phone?

im still on 4.4.2 until the uk gets the update. but all i did was do a factory reset and when yout next turn the phone back on make sure it is in lanscape posotion. but after a while it got the same issue again so im hoping the 4.4.4 update fixes it but ive sent my one back to the shop and they are going to give me a new one.

I'm facing the same issue here. You said it's stopped by a sony service. Any idea what service it is? Do you know how to fix this? I have tried to boot in the safe mode and everything works just fine. But it's still not working in the normal mode.

First of all, are you 100% sure your accelrometer is not working?

Open: settings > About phone > Diagnostics > test > Accelerometer, and run test.

I think my gyroscope/accelerometer is working for... some times. It stops working anytime... - -||
