Screen mirroring with audio

I'd like to create a wireless link from my mobile to a TV for screen and audio. I've tried a miracast dongle but only the screen was cast, no audio, don't know if that's a limitation of my phone or the dongle. Any help appreciated.

The dongle, the easiest way to do this, get a chromecast dongle

Thanks for your reply @uliwooly, the problem with that is the Chromecast and others like it need to stream using a router, I want to be able to use this in hotels where I can't guarantee the setup of the router.

You can try Netgear PTV3000 but find a decent deal with ability to return without any reason.

I have one and it's a mixed bag of success and failures. Mostly failures like dropped frames or choppy audio.

EDIT: If you look for something that you put into TV anyway think about MHL to HDMI. It has it's own issues but is much stable solution.
