screen lock problem

Whenever I dial any number from my Z1, the screen locks and can't be unlocked by repeated pressing of the screen unlock button untill the call is cut from the opposite end.

So, I can't see for how many minutes I am talking or access any other application from my phone during the call or even cut the call.

I am currently using 14.1.G.1.534 version.

Can anybody suggest any solution ?

Try to remove scratch proof guard which you must have installed after purchase of your z1 phone. Mote that you Do not remove original screen scratch proof guard installed by sony, it will void the warranty of the display screen.

If above method doesn't help then take the issue to authorised service center.
