Screen lock freezing/shut down?

Hi hoping someone can help me with this recently got the phone and on 3 occasions now the phone has frozen while locked in the middle of the night. This is causing me problems as my alarm will not go off! When i wake up i have to hold the lock button and the + volume button to reset it then turn it back on and everything is ok!?

Try SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions
