screen flickering

i bought a new xperia go xactly 2 wks bak n the phne screen strted to flicker right from the second day....and it was really annoyng so i calld up the coustmer care guy...he asked me to update my os from gb to ics and i did.....but problem still persisted......gave it to service station  got my peice replaced bt d same problem in the replaced handset too......and its not related to any particulr app its r

just random and it alwaz happens wen i switch on d power button it flickers and takes a while to show the home screen...can anyone plz help me on this

I noticed a flicker on my screen too, but it's very subtle and is happening only in artificially lit environments (I think). If I cover the ambient light sensor with my hand, the flickering stops. Is this what you are experiencing?

had also notice flickering and to avoid it disable auto brightness in display setting or cover your ambient light sensor by hand as suggest b.

This may solve your problem.

this may have been an issue with the os light sensor. have you set your display to auto (depending on your environment light density). make sure not to set this  to the brightest cause it will really drain your battery very fast.

try also to repair your android os using pcc
