Screen Dead after 30sec in 10cm Water

Hello after I tried to do some pool photo shots, my screen flickered and died and now it stays black. The phone is still working, at least I can boot it and shoot photos. Sony Service Center in Bangkok denies to accept my phone because I bought it in US, even I agreed to cover the repair costs. Any Idea how I can convince Sony to accept my case. No one in Pantip wants to repair Sony phones either. sad situation imho ..and very unfriendly customer service on Sony side
