Hi,
My phone is acting weird :
when i power up my phone, it works fine, display, touch and backlight.
Then when the phone goes to iddle mode (or i switch the screen off, or i make a call and the proximity sensor switch it off), then i try to power the screen back on, everything is fine except that the display won't show anything. The backlight works, and I can use the touch to answer some call by swiping, or open a application. I have to reset de phone to get the display back to work.
In short, the display only work after booting the phone.
Anyone can help ?
Thank you.
It seems that you have experienced this before
Contact your Local support to get it inspected, you can also repair the phone with XC and test it: settings > about phone > diagnostics > test
Hi Uliwooly, (Login is messed up, i can't use my first alias ...)
Thank you for your quick answer,
But this problem is on another phone (girlfriend one). and i already tried repairing with PC Companion.
I guess i'll have to change phone since we don't have any repair center in here.
But it is a strange problem, work perfectly fine on boot and then doesn't work after iddle ... there might be a power failure in there.
Thank you for you time.
Don't forget to run the diagnostics, btw, does the phone has a protective case, film, glass that might be covering or partially covering the proximity sensor?
Uliwooly,
I have run diagnostic app, everything seems fine, the proximity sensor vibrate when i hover my finger over it.
I have removed all accessories and cleaned the screen in front of proximity sensor
Uliwooly,
Is XC, PC Companion ? If so i repaired the phone via PC Companion, and it did not change the problem.
Still working on first boot, then doesn't work after iddle
