I have my xperia set to terminate ongoing calls by pressing the powerbutton on the phone rather than using the touchscreen. However if i, for instance, am in a long call with say tech spport, the screen blacks out after two minuites or so and apparently there is no way for me relight the screen without the use of the powerbutton on the side.
Wich then incidentally terminates the call.
quite annoying.
solution wanted.
the screen should turn on once you move the phone away from your face, unless you have something blocking it (a screen protector, case protector, etc)
The problem occurs mostly while in phoneque. I.e.Speakerphone, the phone has not presently been close too me. it reacts to nothing. No touch anywhere, volumebutton does nothing. if i move the phone close and remove again, nothing happens. only reacts to powerbutton.
and no addons that would cover the sensors either.
you can try to reboot your phone
You can only activate the screen by pressing the power button if the phone blacks out when you have it on speaker phone. And if you have activated 'power button end calls' it will end the call you press that button. Maybe you can find an app that can workaround this on Google Play.
