Screen acting on its own after shatter film removal

I understand the fact that it is not recommended that the pre installed anti shatter film to be removed from the phone, but mine has gotten so scratched up, it distorts the viewing, I removed my awhile ago, and now I am touching on glass, the screen often go acting on its own, opening stuff without me touching, is there a way to fix this? I am told if I put another screen protector on, it might stop occuring, is this true?

I think that this is due to the screen being very responsive and sensitive at the same time.You could try to put another film on top.

Also,think that removing the ASF might have voided warranty.

I know, but my phone isn't broken, and it probably wont be, being using since last year, it works fine all these times
