SCRATCH ON CAMERA GLASS.

I have always taken care of my z. It always in a case. But i dont understand how it got a microscratch on the "REAR CAMERA  GLASS COVER" of Z?

The scratch is very minute ....only visible under direct light at certain angle. Although its not affecting the picture quality ...but i doubt the built quality of these lens.And its bugging me...:smileymischief:

In future can we get this camera glass cover replaced with a new one?

Hmm that's certainly an odd place to get a scratch since it's slightly indentated from the body, I can't say for sure that they will be able to just replace the glass over the camera but to find out, going to a Sony dealer or Repair centre would be your best bet. If it's not affecting picture quality i'd be thanking your lucky stars if it's something that cannot be easily/inexpensivley fixed by Sony.

I am also wondering how it got scratched ?

I always keep the mobile in case and also i always see to it that there are no pointed objects near the phone.

n Btw this cannot be exactly described as scratch. When viewed directly into lens it doesnt appears.

I can only see if direct light falls on it and its in the centre. A very tiny microscratch.

Anyways its not affecting the picture quality....so i wont mind it for now...But its quite disappointing to know that there is a scratch.:smileyplain:

Some from sony please confirm whether the camera glass cover is replacable and if yes then at what cost?
