SBH52 Ringtone

Hi

I recently got the SBH52 and was wondering if there is any way to change the ringtone it uses as the one in advert is different from the one that plays when someone calls me whilst connected to the SBH52??

SBH52 only has one predefined ringtone for incoming calls. As I understand it's not possible to change this by default.

The issue is that if I have my phone in my bag and just have the SBH52 (with no headphones connected), I can't hear the phone ring for an incoming call.

I got the impression that this is why the SBH52 exists -- to act like a mini-handset so you can keep your phone put away.

It would be great if Sony would review this functionality and improve it.

I use it with my iPhone 5.  Wist it had better integration, but that is another topic.  Really like the sbh52 though.

Does anyone know what the tone means when you press the larger/main button. I know the button is supposed to answer/end calls. But when I'm not on a call, it makes that noise...

I also experience same issue and i tested that it has a bug when only with iphone.  When SBH52 pair with android it has no issue to hear SBH52 native ringtone for incomging call.  

When its pair with iphone, you will only hear the same ringtone from your iphone instead of SBH52 native ringtone.  i hope that can resolve by a software update because that just make SBH52 uselss unless you using an android.

It would be great if the SBH52 could "stream" the ringtone from our phone.

It can streams music, so why can't it streams ringtones ?

The default (and only) ringtone is awefull ...
Need this feature ASAP !
