HelloI just got an Sony SBH50 Bluetooth hands free and I am having the following issue:
When placing a call from the hands free device, while the phone is in my packet and then terminating the call, the phone does not go to sleep afterwards. When I eventually take the phone out of my pocket, the screen turns on, and then the phone sleeps ok. If the other call party terminates the call this issue does not occur.
This issue is present in my nexus 4 (both android 4.2 and 4.3) as well as my xperia sola (ICS). The SBH50 is updated to its latest firmware.
Steps to reproduce:
-Put phone in pocket (or just cover the proximity sensor)
-Place call through bluetooth hands free (re-dial last call for example)
-Terminate call through bluetooth hands free
-Take the phone out (after any time duration) and the screen turns back on. In between the call termination and taking the phone out, the phone wont sleep.
Anyone else experiencing something similar? can someone follow the steps and confirm this issue?
Thanx!
I think this has to do with the phone and not the headset itself. When testing this on Xperia Z or ZL this doesn't happen.
If possible, contact your dealer to test your headset with a Xperia Z or ZL and see if this happens.
