SBH 50 Software Update

Hello,

I tried to run the Software Update for SBH 50 Wireless Headset.

But the update Service Software doesn't recognize the device.

After plugging it into USB while pressing the back button the headset display shows:

1267-1720

1.1.A.0.7

But the update Software on the PC doesn't proceed.

What's wrong?

Is there anybody here ?

By the way why the connection cookie expires so soon ? Can't you make last it just a little longer ? Just 24 hours. 48 hours would be so great, to avoid constantly re authentification.

The Settings --> Apps -->All -->Smat Connect (v 5.6.8.111) --> Clear Data suggestion did not helped.

I also tryed to uninstall the SBH50 application (and clear its data) and re-install it. Nothing.

After all these months ech time my SBH50 connects to my Xperia Z I get the message (from the SBH50 application) asking me to upgrade the firmware (to the same version I already have in my SBH50 device: 1.3.A.0.2

Perhaps issuing a new firmware for SBH50 would solve the problem!

Now that I took my SBH50 - XperiaZ for skiing it become more annoying as the SBH50 device disconnects with cold (when you ski down fast) and reconnects each time you stop. In a way you get sound notifications indicating extrem temperatures for free Slightly_smiling_Face

Ok, i understand, the SBH50 was designed to not provide microphone service exept for phone call.

So frustrating that nothing specify this before i buy it.

I still have android app problem with the update who don't work.

Need fix for android app.

And i have definitely a problem too with Windows 7 connection. It seems the SBH50 can't listen the audio stream from Windows.

Because as i can hear nothing from Windows, i stil can use the play / pause commands... But no sounds. I have tried everything in windows audio parameters.

Sometimes SHB50 can listen. But i must switch off an switch on several times. And even like that sometimes i surrender after a dozen of attempts.

Need a fix for firmware.

Regarding connection to a computer this depends on the bluetooth software in your computer and what bluetooth profiles and features it supports. If you for example want to use the microphone in the headset from the computer your bluetooth software must support headset profile and/or handsfree profile. You bluetooth software should also create an audio device in your computer which you then select as default under Controlpanel -> Sound or in the application you use in the computer. There's not much we can do about this as it's all handled by your computers bluetooth software. The headset supports standard bluetooth profiles which then must be supported by the device you connect the headset to.
