saving Screenshots to the SD card

ever since the Android v4.4.4, KitKat, update, I no longer can save screenshots to the SD card:smileyraised_eyebrow:

:smileyidea:I'm hoping that the Android 5.0, Lollipop, update will bring back that option:smileyidea:

I'm sure you are aware that you can transfer screenshots to your SD card

By default they are and most likely continue to be stored on the internal storage, but as thommo said, you can transfer them with a file commander

@Thummo, how?:smileyconfused:

As Uli above said use your file manager app to transfer the image to your SD card

@Thommo, I don't use any 3rd party file manager apps.

The built-in "Transfer data to SD card" in the Storage settings only offers: Photos, Videos & Music.

Use file commander,that is why the application is default.

@alexdon, I can't find any file commander app with my Z1s running KitKat v4.4.4

prior to the KitKat v4.4.4 update, I was able to save screenshots directly to the SD card without using any kind of file commander app

Now this haven't heard before,file commander is the default file explorer for Sony devices,it can write on external SD (media files). And I am not sure of how you have managed to save the screenshots on SD before.

maybe the missing file commander is a bug with KitKat v4.4.4 on a Z1s:smileyconfused:

from what I've read on a few Google search results, KitKat supposedly removed the feature to save to SD card… but Lollipop supposedly brought it back…
