This morning I was doing some web browsing with the phone being held sideways. When I was done, I hit the home key and saw that the home page was rotated sideways. I thought it was a mistake, so I turned the phone upright, and the screen rotated to the way I am used to seeing it. I then rotated it sideways, and the screen rotated. I then scrolled through the pages. However, after being on a phone call, the screen no longer rotates. Up until today, I did not know the home screen would do that. However, now, the problem is, that it is no longer rotating. Can anyone explain why?
go to settings > display > auto-rotate screen
is Sony spying on users in this forum?

There is a checkmark in my mobile, but the homescreen never rotated.
Is there any special setting to do this?
I would prefer if the homescreen rotate if I use my phone in my car in landscape mode.
Did you not read my post? "Auto-rotate screen" function was not already enabled, then how would the screen rotate as I was web browsing?
the homescreen it is NOT going to rotate unless your phone it's connected to a computer or charger
perhaps you could go on to your browser's settings and what a "friendly attitude"
good luck
I could do that, but that still wouldn't solve the problem would it? So, instead on diverting, which only creates further problems, let's stick to MAIN problem and figure out a solution, shall we? So, going off your GOOD suggestion of plugging in the the phone to the computer/charger, I went ahead and tried that. However, NO LUCK.
