i rooted my xperia p ,bootloader locked. very simple and easy to do.

yes my friend just flash any lower kernel and then connect it to the SUS or PC companion. it will show new software available. install it and ur phone will be as gud as the one u got from sony !! unrooted. (I have tried this a million times.)

PLEASE MAKE SURE U HAVE USB DEBUGGING ON and UNKNOWN SOURCES CHECKED WHILE FLASHING.

thanks a bunch....i got a some problem with my usb debugging mode.even though i have got it turned on from developer options still on the flash tool it says device connected with usb debugging mode OFF...when i turn on usb therting then it connects in USB debugging mode on on flash tool.i tried to root my fone with th above procesure.flashed .59 kernel.turn on flash tool and tried to root with flash tool...got up to restore point but then in the between my screen got dark n black cudnt see properly thru it...i restored the file from backup n restore..later the flash tool rebooted my device...and when it turend on the debugging mode got off by itself (most probably becus the usb thethering got off) n my screen got black ..i disconnetcd my phone...went thru the apps..dint see any super user app...i guess my fone wasnt rooted yet :S....then later i flashed back with .54 kernel n display got right...but unfortunatly i am still unrooted :S tell em what shud i do!!
